Abstract
The excretion of acetanilide and N-acetyl p-aminophenol in normal controls and children with aplastic anemia was found to be similar. These results suggest that arylhydroxylation and conjugation with activated glucuronic acid are not disturbed in toxic aplastic anemia. No good evidence could be obtained indicating conjugation of acetanilide metabolites with activated sulphate.
