The Medical Educators Institute (MEI) is a program designed to cultivate future leaders in hematology education by providing a "boot camp" in teaching techniques and critical topics in medical education. The 2016 MEI took place on Wednesday, September 28 at the ASH Headquarters in Washington, DC. Participants learned skills for becoming stronger clinical educators, how to implement a scholarly project in hematology medical education, and identified appropriate next steps in their career development. Participants will also work with a mentor on this scholarly project to be implemented at their home institutions.
