The Editors of Blood retract the 3 June 2010 paper cited above. The United States Office of Research Integrity (ORI) found that the first author had falsified data by reusing western blot images in this and other publications while claiming that they represented different controls and experimental results. In this paper, the western blot images for JNK and tubulin in Figures 4A and 4C were identified as duplicated across publications.
