On pages 3702 and 3703 in the 28 November 2013 issue, there are errors in the text. In the third sentence of first paragraph on page 3702, there is a missing comma. The text reads, “To complicate the picture, IL-10 enhances the proliferation and survival of the differentiation, the expression of major histocompatibility complex class II (MHC II) molecules, immunoglobulins, and isotype switching in B cells.” It should have read, “To complicate the picture, IL-10 enhances the proliferation and survival of, the differentiation, the expression of major histocompatibility complex class II (MHC II) molecules, immunoglobulins, and isotype switching in B cells.”
On page 3703, after the first full sentence, there is a missing sentence, which should have read, “Treatment of tumor-bearing mice with a PEGylated form of IL-10 increased the tumor-infiltrating CD8 T cells, their activation, and tumor rejection.”
Also on page 3703, in the second sentence of the second paragraph, there is a missing number regarding the number of patients for which genetic mutations in IL-10R were recently found. The correct number of patients is “in 4 of 9 patients.” The text reads, “Closing the species gap between mice and humans, genetic mutations in IL-10R were recently found in 4 of patients with very-early-onset IBD, a severe genetic form of colitis that develops within the first years of life.10” The text should read, “Closing the species gap between mice and humans, genetic mutations in IL-10R were recently found in 4 of 9 patients with very-early-onset IBD, a severe genetic form of colitis that develops within the first years of life.10”
