In the article by Tang et al, entitled “Restoration of the CCAAT Box or Insertion of the CACCC Motif Activate δ-Globin Gene Expression,” which appeared in the July 1, 1997 issue (Vol 90, No 1, pp 421-427), the following corrections should be noted. The correct title of the article is “Restoration of the CCAAT Box or Insertion of the CACCC Motif Activates δ-Globin Gene Expression.” The running titles on pages 423, 425, and 427 should read, “ACTIVATION OF DELTA-GLOBIN GENE EXPRESSION.”
