Proximity ligation assays (PLAs) were deployed to detect the colocalization of the toll-like receptor adaptor protein myeloid differentiation primary response 88 (MYD88) and Bruton’s tyrosine kinase. The PLAs were performed on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections derived from murine lymphomas isolated from Cd19^Cre/wt;Myd88^{c.-p.L252P/wt}; Rosa26^{LSL.BCL2.IRES.GFP/wt};Prdm1^fl/fl;Cd79b^{c.-p.Y195H/wt} mice that were treated with ibrutinib (30 mg/kg orally daily for 3 days) prior to lymphoma isolation. PLA foci are visualized in yellow, and the B-cell–specific antigen B220 (violet) was used to determine cell numbers. See the article by Flümann et al.
