The authors demonstrate that the E3 ubiquitin ligase ASB2α, through degradation of its substrate filamins, acts as a positive regulator of podosome rosette formation, extracellular matrix degradation, and subsequent migration of immature dendritic cells. The cover image shows bone marrow-derived dendritic cells that were stained with antibodies to filamin A (green), vinculin (red), and phalloidin (blue). See the article by Lamsoul et al on page 533.
